Senior Advisor of Clinical Strategy and Trauma-Informed Care

Jessika Szatny, MSW, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker, clinical supervisor, and doctoral candidate in Social Work at the University of Kentucky, where her research focuses on psychosomatic disorders in school-aged children, trauma, and mind-body interventions. Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Jessika has called South Jersey home since 2020. She is passionate about serving her local community through trauma-informed mental health care, education, and collaborative partnerships that promote healing and hope. She is the founder and owner of Embodied Autonomy Clinical Services, a virtual private practice dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and adults heal from the effects of trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, and psychosomatic conditions through compassionate, evidence-based care. 

In addition to her private practice, Jessika has extensive experience in behavioral health leadership, quality improvement, and systems development across healthcare and educational settings. She has served in clinical and school leadership roles that have focused on improving behavioral health outcomes, supporting interdisciplinary teams, and developing trauma-informed programs that promote resilience and long-term recovery. 

Jessika's clinical approach integrates trauma-informed and mind-body modalities that help individuals reconnect with their innate capacity for healing. She is passionate about creating environments where people feel safe, empowered, and understood. Jessika brings expertise in trauma recovery, behavioral health, program development, clinical supervision, and community collaboration. She is committed to advancing innovative, relationship-centered services that foster healing, resilience, and hope, for children, families, veterans, and underserved populations. Jessika believes healing happens through connection, to ourselves, to others, and to the natural world we live in.
