Senior Strategic Community Advisor

The Honorable Albert B. Kelly serves as our Senior Strategic Community Advisor. Throughout his distinguished career in public service and nonprofit leadership, Mayor Kelly has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of individuals, families, and communities throughout South Jersey. His vision, leadership, and decades of experience building strong partnerships between government, business, and community organizations make him an invaluable addition to our Board of Advisors.

After serving as President of the Bridgeton City Council, Mayor Kelly was elected in 2010 as Bridgeton's first African-American Mayor, earning overwhelming support from the community and later being re-elected to a second term. Beyond his accomplishments in public office, he is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Gateway Community Action Partnership, Inc., one of South Jersey's largest nonprofit organizations. Under his leadership, Gateway has grown into a regional organization serving more than 56,000 low- and moderate-income residents across Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem counties with an annual operating budget exceeding $40 million and a dedicated workforce of more than 450 employees.

Mayor Kelly's lifelong commitment to community development, economic opportunity, education, health, and social services aligns perfectly with the mission of Flying First Class. His insight, mentorship, and strategic guidance will help strengthen our efforts to provide affordable equine programs, community outreach initiatives, trauma recovery services, violence prevention, youth development, and wellness opportunities for the families we serve.
